SV Knits
Turning supplier strength into buyer confidence
Through a Metis Strategy, Irigai developed a commercial positioning and credibility system to help SV Knits move from broad supplier messaging into clearer buyer-facing communication.
SV Knits is a knitwear manufacturer with strong production scale, in-house execution, international export experience and established labour welfare policies.
The opportunity was commercial translation.
The business had the proof buyers need: capability, capacity, production control, quality processes and responsible workplace systems. What needed strengthening was how those strengths were communicated to international buyers making decisions around risk, reliability, compliance and long-term supplier fit.
-
Irigai developed a commercial strategy to reposition SV Knits from broad supplier language into a sharper buyer-facing proposition, translating production scale, quality systems, category capability and responsible workplace practices into the language of sourcing confidence, risk reduction and long-term supplier value.
-
The work identified where SV Knits’ strengths were most commercially relevant across different buyer needs, helping the business move away from one-size-fits-all outreach and towards communication shaped around category fit, production priorities, compliance expectations and future supplier review.
-
SV Knits’ labour and welfare policies became a core part of the strategy, reframed through a commercial sustainability lens that connected healthcare, childcare and workplace wellbeing to buyer concerns around responsible sourcing, workforce stability, production continuity and supplier trust.
-
The website strategy focused on making SV Knits easier for buyers to understand quickly, restructuring the narrative around credibility, capability and buyer value so the site could work as a stronger trust checkpoint after outreach, referral or internal review.
-
Irigai developed buyer-facing in-email assets designed to make SV Knits’ proof easier to scan, share and act on inside sourcing conversations, giving the team sharper ways to communicate capability, quality, responsible production and future-fit relevance without relying on dense company decks.
-
LinkedIn was shaped as an authority layer for buyer trust, with templates, banner direction and content logic designed to reinforce SV Knits’ credibility around production control, quality, responsible manufacturing and supplier reliability between direct sales conversations.
The work helped SV Knits communicate its value through the lens of buyer confidence: where the business is strongest, why that matters commercially, and how responsible production supports stronger sourcing conversations.
Suppliers often communicate through what they have:
machinery
capacity
certifications
factory size
product categories
compliance documents
Buyers make decisions through what those things reduce:
risk
uncertainty
quality inconsistency
lead-time pressure
supplier instability
reputational exposure
The work focused on closing that gap.
The strategic challenge
Buyer profiling for a changing sourcing market
Irigai mapped SV Knits’ communication against the needs shaping global sourcing now and next: quality consistency, supplier reliability, responsible production, documentation readiness, category relevance and reduced operational risk.
The work looked at how different buyer priorities are shifting across markets, from compliance-led European sourcing to scale-led international retail, helping SV Knits understand which strengths mattered most, where its proof needed to work harder, and how to speak to buyers making decisions under increasing pressure.
Responsible production as commercial trust
A key part of the project was translating SV Knits’ labour and welfare policies into buyer-relevant value.
Healthcare access, childcare support and workplace wellbeing are meaningful responsible production signals. They also carry commercial weight for buyers assessing supplier stability, workforce continuity and long-term manufacturing reliability.
For retailers and brands, responsible production is part of the sourcing decision. It helps answer whether a supplier is credible, reviewable and able to support repeat production without creating additional risk.
